On Sunday July 29th the Vancouver Poultry & Fancy Pigeon Association held a summer lawn show and BBQ for our members. The VP&FPA has not hosted a lawn show since 2011. It was a pleasure to be able to host this event at my home.
We battled through some extremely hot weather but it was such a great day for our club. Thank you to everone who helped me organize this event. Thank you to Larry Brown for taking on the Judging duties. There were 72 birds entered
Champion Fancy pigeon won by Keith Biggs - Black West of England Tumbler
Champion Flying pigeon won by Ken Chatwin - Red bar Show Homer.
Champion Rare breed won by Mojghan Younesi/Mohammad-Ali Younesi - Afghani Pigeon.
